• Develop financial plans for clients
• Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement, and estate planning
• Arrange for the sale of financial products and investments
• Negotiate with corporations and government entities to determine the type and terms of new securities issues
• Prepare offering prospectuses for new issues of stocks and bonds
• Negotiate mortgage loans and submit applications for mortgages to lenders or lending institutions on behalf of clients
• Administer estate, personal, charitable, corporate, and other types of trusts; direct trust account investments; receive and record investment income; and disburse trust funds
• Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
