The Canadian Rwandese Foundation of People With Disabilities in Alberta (or CRF) mission is to "Support and encourage individuals with disabilities and their families to achieve their full potential as members of their community" with a specific focus on the disabled community in Rwanda, Africa. The CRF Mobility Matters team requires the knowledge and assistance of a CPA to put in place a basic accounting system for this recently licensed Alberta Charity. Advice regarding the management of finances or any other direction would be valuable. The option to join the CRF at the board of directors level could be discussed.
The Mobility Matters project team within the CRF is involved in the collection of used prosthetic components and related soft products in Alberta for shipment to Rwanda. The team is comprised of only three members at this time with an objective to ship equipment to Rwanda before the end of 2025.
The time commitment for this position is approximately 10-20 hours per month. The work schedule is irregular but largely at the discretion of the jobholder. Most work can be done remotely. Computers and related equipment are not supplied.
