Job Description

As the Contract Coordinator, you may be the primary contact for Rockwell Automation’s customers for CSM Projects and Support Contracts, as well as provide administrative support for the assigned region. You will focus on leading the execution and completion of projects, ensuring timelines, customer satisfaction, and costs are managed effectively. You may be assigned to manage fixed-price projects, T&E projects, and bundled contracts.

You will report to the NA Regional Senior Contract Coordinator, LCS.

Functional Responsibilities:
  1. Be the primary point of contact for all projects and contracts as assigned.
  2. Manage projects exceeding $100k, providing regular updates to customers on project status (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  3. Lead face-to-face meetings for large contracts (exceeding $100k), including kick-off and close-out meetings.
  4. Collaborate closely with Territory Service Managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success.
  5. Manage contractual activities to ensure timely completion, such as Preventative Maintenance.
  6. Update QuickBase regularly with tasks, costs, margins, and forecasted completion dates.
  7. Ensure project and contract cash flow is maintained through timely invoicing and payment.
  8. Demonstrate commercial skills to fulfill customer requirements effectively.
  9. Respond promptly to urgent customer needs, maintaining open communication.
  10. Plan and prepare resources to meet customer demands, balancing workload across projects.
  11. Identify and mitigate technical, contractual, and financial risks proactively throughout the project lifecycle.
  12. Prepare and update regional project revenue forecasts monthly.
  13. Maintain and store project and contract documentation per RA policy.
  14. Lead process improvement initiatives.
  15. Ensure project and contract teams follow safety procedures per RA and customer policies.
The Essentials - What You Will Have:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Legal authorization to work in the US (no sponsorship for visas)
  • Willingness to travel as required within the assigned region
The Preferred - You May Also Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • At least 4 years of experience in Contract or Project Coordination for external customer projects
  • Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and timelines
  • Working knowledge of SAP CRM and QuickBase
  • Formal PMI-based project management training
  • Experience working with sales teams and customers
  • Experience managing a team of engineers and technologists indirectly
