What is the opportunity:

As part of the RBC Dominion Securities Inc. business line, the successful candidate will join the Portfolio Risk Advisors team to assist with the ongoing oversight of discretionary programs. This role involves partnering with colleagues, head office teams, and Portfolio Managers across the country to ensure the successful implementation and oversight of the PIM program.

What will you do?

  1. Oversee the successful technology transition of the Portfolio Risk Dashboard.
  2. Assist with data integration into new platforms.
  3. Conduct quarterly reviews of client accounts.
  4. Provide reporting and analysis to Branch Directors nationwide.
  5. Classify financial instruments.
  6. Deliver presentations virtually and in person to Portfolio Managers and their teams.
  7. Report on discretionary program metrics to the Head of Managed Accounts.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in the financial sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Effective presentation skills, both virtual and in person.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Interest in technology applications.
  • Ability to simplify large volumes of information.
  • Client-service orientation.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in an RBC DS branch environment.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Canadian Securities Course certification.
