Responsibilities :
- Prepare and complete exit and transition plans for segment-critical third-party vendors.
- Act as the primary contact for vendor reviews and contracts relating to transition planning.
- Lead the testing of third-party exit and transition plans.
- Work with vendors and internal teams to identify alternate work area solutions for critical operations.
- Support business impact analyses and recovery strategies including RTO, RPO, and single points of failure.
- Coordinate with Information Risk Management and other risk SMEs to ensure comprehensive resilience planning.
- Provide consultation and support to business units and IT teams on BC and DR requirements during projects and change initiatives.
- Assist in digitizing and standardizing resilience processes to offer an integrated risk view across IRM, ORM, and global teams.
- Deliver education sessions and communicate risk and continuity strategies across the organization.
- Embrace innovation to manage evolving technology risks effectively.
What you will need to succeed :
- High school diploma required.
- Professional certification in BCM (e.g., ABCP, CBCP, MBCI, or MBCP), or actively working toward certification.
- 3–5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas : Disaster Recovery, Business Resilience, Information Technology, Project Management, or Vendor Management within a large, complex organization.
- Broad understanding of system technologies and Business Resilience / Disaster Recovery tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines, including OSFI B10 and E21.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with BCM planning tools or relational databases (e.g., Fusion Risk Management, Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to deliver presentations and user education across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships, engage stakeholders, and influence decision-making.
- Nice to Have : Practical experience applying OSFI B10 and E21 standards.
