MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Activity sector: Pulp and Paper

Site: Kamloops, BC

Relocation: Assistance provided

Salary Range: $78,080.00 - $130,140.00

Schedule: Compressed Work Week (9-hour dayshifts, every other Friday off)

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent, the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising mechanical trades in a safety-focused Kraft Pulp Mill. This role is ideal for effective leaders who are dynamic, resourceful, self-starters, and committed to safety.

Your Responsibilities

1. Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance employees;
2. Track and measure performance using appropriate methods/tools;
3. Contribute to short- and long-term planning strategies;
4. Make a difference and share in the mill’s overall success.

Your Qualifications

1. Interprovincial Red Seal Certification in Millwrighting, Pipefitting, Heavy Duty Mechanics, or Welding;
2. Experience supervising trades in a safety-focused, industrial environment;
3. Proficiency with computers and experience with a computerized maintenance management system (SAP);
4. Experience in planning and scheduling within a multi-trade environment is an asset;
5. A dual ticket is considered an asset.
