About The Opportunity

Canada Guaranty is seeking an Account Executive to join our National Sales team. Supporting our partners around Central Ontario, the Account Executive will work in a customer-centric environment, utilizing sales, communication, and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional service to our lender partners. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of lenders, collaborating with our lender partners and internal underwriting team to grow our business.

In This Role, You Will

1. Assist the Director of Sales in developing business plans to achieve company objectives.
2. Participate in strategic planning and launch of new lender partnerships, executing business plans for your territory.
3. Introduce our mortgage insurance products to lenders and mortgage professionals through training presentations via webinar and in-person sessions.
4. Maintain in-depth knowledge of Canada Guaranty’s products and services.
5. Stay updated on changes in premium rates, underwriting guidelines, and company policies.
6. Attend industry events and monitor competitor developments.
7. Participate in mortgage-related trade groups, such as Mortgage Professionals Canada.
8. Travel regularly throughout Central Ontario.

Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in the mortgage industry, especially in sales or lending roles.
• Knowledge of mortgage origination, mortgage insurance, and underwriting, with the ability to analyze financial statements and credit reports.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
