Job summary

Professional Excavators is seeking a dedicated Earthworks Laborer to support our excavation projects on construction sites across Alberta. You will perform essential tasks, operate basic tools, and help maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be capable of lifting heavy objects. Outdoor work in varying weather and a strong work ethic are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with excavation of earth and materials on construction projects.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely.
• Follow instructions from site supervisors to complete tasks accurately.
• Perform site clean-up and maintain a tidy work area throughout the project.
• Load and unload materials, equipment, and tools as necessary.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling temporary structures such as formwork and safety barriers.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
