Ausenco is seeking an experienced Intermediate Civil Engineer to join the Vancouver Project Delivery team within the Minerals and Metals Business line. You will lead Civil (Earthworks) design, coordinate multi-office resources across time zones, develop cost-efficient civil designs, and mentor junior staff on mine-site projects.

The role requires a Civil (Earthworks) degree, 5+ years in design for mining/industrial projects, and PE in BC.

Competenze

• Undergraduate degree in Civil (Earthworks) Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• Experience in soil mechanics and hydraulic design including bearing capacity estimates, retaining wall design, open channel design and catchment analysis, plus general Civil Engineering skills including CAD and Civil 3D.
• Minimum 5 years Civil (Earthworks) design engineering experience including mining/industrial projects.
• Ability to lead Civil (Earthworks) project teams and manage performance reviews.

Mansioni

• Deliver Civil (Earthworks) engineering design according to required timeframes and standards.
• Coordinate resources across Ausenco offices in different time zones.
• Prepare cost-effective civil and site utility designs from concept to construction.
• Act as engineer of record or discipline lead for civil projects.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Perform site visits and prepare related reports for mine sites.
