Position Summary
We are looking for an Early Talent Specialist based at our North York office reporting into the Talent Acquisition Manager. This role will own the execution our Early Talent Program strategy in collaboration with the TA Program Manager. This individual will play an integral role in evolving the maturity of Nestlé’s approach to Early Talent sourcing methods, growing our candidate pool beyond campus to stay ahead of industry trends, tap into diverse talent pools, and secure top talent

A day in the life:
You will own the management and execution of Early Talent programs, including the end-to-end recruitment cycle of intern and new graduate programs across the Canadian market. You will also bring a continuous improvement approach to the programs, leading process redesign work where needed. This will incorporate the strategic vision of Talent Acquisition deliverables to support recruitment efforts + employer branding activities.

Manage and Execute Early Talent Programs (70%)


Early Talent Program Management

  • Development and execution of NiM Canada campus & youth partner engagement plan, in collaboration with the TA Program Manager
  • Lead development & implementation of creative sourcing solutions to diversify our Early Talent candidate pools
  • Adopt a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating & refining internal processes to improve candidate experience
  • Work with leaders and collaborators to build annual plans for Early Talent pipeline across business segments, establishing Nestlé as top employer.
  • Coordinate and facilitate preparation for youth-related activities, both for internal programs and external events
  • Elevate performance against key Talent Acquisition metrics
  • Track Early Talent hires and provide regular updates to business leaders to share findings and successes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Facilitate regular communication and partnership between hiring managers, HRBPs and leaders to ensure alignment of recruitment efforts with business goals and priorities
  • Serve as a strategic ally to hiring managers, offering insights and recommendations on talent acquisition strategies, market trends, and standard methodologies
  • Proactively address any concerns or challenges raised by collaborators related to the recruitment process, and work towards effective solutions
  • Offer continuous support and direction to collaborators regarding recruitment matters, such as interview methods, candidate evaluation, and negotiating offers

Youth Initiative + Early Talent Projects (30%)

  • Ownership of reporting for Youth Initiative on a quarterly basis
  • Collaborate with DEI Leader & TA Program Manager to find opportunities to diversify early talent pools and establish communities of interest across key regional areas
  • Leverage historical data and ongoing evaluation to improve youth-related strategies and plans
  • Assess external market and introduce tools and technologies where needed to stay competitive
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and attract top talent

Role Requirements:

  • 3 years of full life cycle talent acquisition experience with 2 years in early talent/campus recruitment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of standard methodologies working with Early Talent programs
  • Ability to travel locally + within Canada. Evening and weekend event set up/participation will be required Experience working with data and analytics to enable decision-making
  • Communication: solid verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express complex concepts in business terms
  • Collaborator & Relationship Management: ability to understand internal & external dynamics, establish trust with collaborators and facilitate programs and partnerships
  • End to End Thinking: ability to connect a process to a bigger picture and reimagine where needed. Creativity and resourcefulness will be critical to success
  • Time Management: flexibility and adaptability to the requirements of an environment with multiple priorities, projects, and assignments simultaneously

Preferred Skills:

  • Program Management: strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, completing projects from vision through implementation
  • Demonstrated experience leading and implementing early talent programs and partnerships for 2 full calendar year cycle
