Job summary

WSP Canada is seeking a Junior Project Controller to support project performance from initiation through completion in a dynamic environment. You will work with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to help manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting.

You will build skills in project controls, scheduling, and data integrity while contributing to infrastructure and community projects across Canada. This role offers growth and hands-on learning within a global engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Up to 2 years of project coordination or related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience using Excel and business reporting tools.
• Organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Monitor project performance metrics and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Assist project managers with project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure project data integrity and compliance.
• Analyze project costs and trends to support informed decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery processes.
• Build relationships across multidisciplinary teams while developing your project management and business acumen.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400

MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $60,300 – $80,000
