Job summary

WSP in Canada is seeking a Junior Project Controller to support project performance from initiation to completion. You will work with project managers, technical professionals, and business teams to build a strong foundation in project controls and contribute to projects shaping communities and infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in project coordination, project controls, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other business reporting tools.
  • Ability to interpret financial information and communicate findings effectively.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn project delivery principles, financial management, and consulting business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Assist project managers with project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure project data integrity and compliance.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400

MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $60,300 – $80,000
