Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator for our Creekside location in Alberta. You will work closely with teachers and families to create a supportive, home-away-from-home environment for children in our care.

Responsibilities include implementing BrightPath’s curriculum, maintaining a safe classroom, assessing progress with parents, and collaborating with staff. The role requires ECE Level 1 or equivalent and current First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education - Level 1 Certification or B.Ed./Equivalent is required.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR are required.
• Current immunization and health assessment per local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum to support children's development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Assess children’s abilities and discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Establish collaborative relationships with colleagues, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
