Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care in Calgary is seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to join our BrightPath Kids program. The role involves developing and delivering a curriculum-aligned program that supports child development on-site, while ensuring a safe, engaging classroom environment.

The successful candidate will hold an ECE Level 1 or higher (or equivalent), meet provincial childcare requirements, and maintain current first aid/CPR and immunization records.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education certification or higher as applicable.
• Must meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Early Childhood Education - Level 1 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
