Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Calgary, AB is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team. You will work alongside teachers and families to provide a loving, home-like environment for children and implement BrightPath's curriculum to support development.

Requirements include ECE Level 1 or B.Ed./Equivalent, provincial childcare eligibility, and current First Aid/CPR. We offer a $17.00/hour wage with government wage enhancement and a comprehensive benefits package, plus various employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?
