Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Calgary is seeking casual/supply staff to support our early childhood education program. You will help develop and implement activities in line with BrightPath’s curriculum, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.

Requirements include ECE Level 1–3 or a B.Ed./equivalent, First Aid/CPR, and current immunization health assessments. Benefits include childcare discounts and additional insurance options.

Qualifications

• ECE Certification (Level 1-3) or B.Ed./Equivalent.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum to support child development.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment for children.
• Assess children's abilities, interests, and needs; discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Establish collaborative relationships with coworkers, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
