BrightPath Kids in Cochrane, AB seeks a casual Early Childhood Educator to implement developmentally appropriate programs and ensure a safe classroom. The role emphasizes collaboration with families and staff to monitor progress and adapt activities.

You will support a positive learning environment, participate in meetings, and maintain organized materials while adhering to provincial childcare requirements.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education Certification (Level 1, 2 or 3) or a B.Ed./equivalent.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant/child CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per Health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support child development.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment for children.
• Assess abilities, interests and needs and discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Establish collaborative relationships with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
