Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Legacy, AB is hiring a full-time Early Childhood Educator. You will develop and implement programs aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum, ensuring a safe, stimulating environment and working closely with families and staff.

You will meet ECE certification requirements (Level 1-3 or B.Ed./Equivalent) and maintain first aid, CPR, and immunization as per provincial rules. Full-time employees receive health benefits and a substantial childcare discount.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education certification (Level 1, 2 or 3) or B.Ed./Equivalent.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
