Job summary

Summit Start Riverview Ltd. in Calgary is seeking an energetic ECE Level 1 to join our weekday day or evening shift team. You will help design and deliver childcare programs, engage with children, families, and the community, and uphold licensing standards.

You should hold Alberta Level 1 Certification, enjoy working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, and bring high energy, strong English communication, and teamwork to our supportive centre. Competitive wage and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Alberta Childcare Level 1 Certification required.
• Comfortable with day or evening shifts, Monday–Friday.
• First Aid with CPR Level B or C.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector within last 6 months.

Early Childhood Educator (Level 1) - Weekdays Day/Evening Shift

Our team is looking for ECE Level 1 childcare professionals to work WEEKDAY DAY or EVENING shifts and bring their amazing personality and flair to the group.

Responsibilities:

• Be a brand ambassador. You are the face of the company!
• Build relationships with co-workers, families, and the community by creating trust and always acting with integrity.
• Be accountable and take pride in the company.
• Design and deliver childcare programs that are in line with Summit core values and principles
• Continue to strive for excellence by participating in Professional Development training and being up to date on best practices in childcare.
• Always ensure that the facility is hygienic, safe and healthy for children
• Be knowledgeable of and adhere to licensing standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Alberta Childcare Level 1 Certification. (We are only hiring ECE Level 1 candidates for this position)
• Comfortable working day or evening shifts,Monday through Friday, with shifts scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. and 12:15 a.m.
• Great personality and lots of energy - You'll need it!
• Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level B or C Certification.
• Clear & Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector obtained within the last 6 months.
• Ability to work exceptionally well in teams
• Excellent verbal and written skills (English)
