Job summary

Summit Start Chestermere Ltd. is seeking an ECE Level 1 childcare professional for weekday day shifts in Alberta. You will engage with children, support learning through play, and collaborate with a friendly team.

Responsibilities include creating safe, hygienic, age-appropriate activities while adhering to licensing standards. We value energy, teamwork, and strong English communication.

• Excellent verbal and written skills (English).
• Alberta Childcare Level 1 Certification required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver childcare programs that are in line with Summit core values and principles
• Continue to strive for excellence by participating in Professional Development training and being up to date on best practices in childcare.
• Always ensure that the facility is hygienic, safe and healthy for children
• Be knowledgeable of and adhere to licensing standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Alberta Childcare Level 1 Certification. (We are only hiring ECE Level 1 candidates for this position)
• Comfortable with shifts scheduled between 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Great personality and lots of energy - You'll need it!
• Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level B or C Certification.
• Clear & Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector obtained within the last 6 months.
• Ability to work exceptionally well in teams
• Excellent verbal and written skills (English)
