Little Willows by Kids & Company in Maple Ridge, BC is hiring educators for contract maternity leave coverage and a short-term position starting Oct 28 or Nov 1, 2026, with a second start on Nov 9, 2026 for about 2–3 months. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, applying a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, and supporting children's development.

Qualifications include a BC ECE license, CPR/First Aid, a current Criminal Record Check, up-to-date immunizations, and ability to lift

• Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists and Early Interventionists as required.

• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and workshops.

Salary Range: CA$20.00 To CA$23.00 Hourly

Positions Available

We are currently seeking qualified educators for the following contract opportunities:

• Start Date: October 28 or November 1, 2026
• Term: Contract position covering the remainder of a maternity leave through approximately Spring 2027
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Term: Contract position for approximately 2-3 months

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
• Implement a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach to learning
• Support children's emotional, physical, and behavioural well-being while fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Complete attendance records and health and safety checks
• Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists, as required
• Support children through transitions within and between classrooms
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and workshops

Qualifications

• Valid British Columbia ECE License (ECE or ECE/IT, depending on the position)
• Current Criminal Record Check
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Certification
• Up-to-date immunizations
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 lbs.
