BrightPath Kids is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to work alongside teachers and families, providing a nurturing home-away-from-home environment for children. You will implement BrightPath's curriculum, monitor well-being, and discuss development with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• ECE level 2 Certification or B.Ed./Equivalent required.
• Meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization/health assessment per local Health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Assess children’s abilities and communicate progress with families and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care.

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
