BrightPath Kids in Richmond, AB is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a full-time role. You will work closely with teachers and families to provide a nurturing home-away-from-home environment for children and deliver a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum.

Responsibilities include developing activities, ensuring child well-being, assessing progress, and collaborating with staff.

Qualifications

• Must have Early Childhood Education certification or equivalent.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a BrightPath curriculum-aligned program for children.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Assess children’s development and discuss progress with families and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues, management and families for program quality.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Support classroom materials and maintain inventory.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
