Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Chestermere, AB is seeking a casual/supply/substitute Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The role focuses on implementing BrightPath’s curriculum and maintaining a safe, engaging environment for children.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education Certification or equivalent is required.
• Provincial childcare requirements must be met.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local requirements.

• Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment for children.
• Assessing children's abilities and communicating progress with families.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
