BrightPath Kids in Clayton Hills, BC is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to partner with teachers and families, creating a home-away-from-home for children in our care. You will assist in classrooms, support routines, and help develop engaging activities.

Qualifications

• ECE Assistant Certification or equivalent required.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment per local requirements.
• Experience planning and implementing learning activities.

Responsabilités

• Assist educators and IT staff in classroom activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Engage with children to encourage participation and exploration.
• Collaborate with colleagues, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as needed.
• Support program delivery and maintain materials and records.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

As a Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting ECE’s and IT’s with instruction in the classroom.


• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.


• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.


• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.


• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.


• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.


• Other duties as assigned.

• Early Childhood Assistant Certification


• Must meet province requirement for childcare employment


• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
