Salary Range $76,222 – $122,141 annually. Placement on the faculty salary scale is based on education, professional certification and experience and will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

The Early Childhood Education Department in the Faculty of Applied Community Studies is hiring one full-time and one part-time regular probationary faculty members to begin December 16, 2026. Workload is assigned each year based on available sections. You will instruct students in the Department of Early Childhood Education. The Department offers a two-year in-person/online/hybrid diploma program that prepares students for basic ECE certification as well as certification as a Special Needs Educator. Students may also complete a post-diploma citation in Infant-Toddler Care. Instructors in the department typically teach a range of academic and practicum courses.
You will instruct students, facilitate learning and evaluate student progress in the Early Childhood Education Diploma program. You will plan, organize and manage learning activities and resources, provide academic advice to learners and maintain high quality learner-centred instruction. Additional duties include building and taking part in community committees and initiatives, as well as active participation in department, faculty, and college-wide committees.
