BrightPath Kids is hiring for a Full-Time Early Childhood Assistant at Forest Hills Academy, ON. This role supports RECE-led classroom activities and ensures a safe, engaging environment for children. No evenings or weekends, with favourable benefits and a strong childcare discount.

Qualifications

• High School/Equivalent required, Early Childhood Assistant Certification preferred.
• Must meet province requirement for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting RECEs with instruction in the classroom.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the wellbeing of children.
• Interacting with children to encourage participation in activities.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
