The Learning Enrichment Foundation in Toronto is seeking enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistants (ECAs) to support child-family- and community-focused programs. You will plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities, prioritize children’s health and safety, and build strong relationships with families and staff.
Ideal candidates have an ECA certificate or equivalent and at least 1 year of child-care experience, with knowledge of Ontario standards like EL framework and AQI.
The Learning Enrichment Foundation (LEF) is a not-for-profit (with a social enterprise mindset) which provides a multidisciplinary and holistic set of supports for members of our community including those who are: in transition, new to Canada, out of the workforce, and a host of other individual circumstances. We currently knit together Settlement Services, Child Care, Employment Supports, Skills Training, and Language Training.

$24.98 per hour
We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and motivated Early Childhood Assistants (ECAs) with experience in supporting the delivery of child-family- and community focused programs that foster resilience and inspire curiosity.
The role involves prioritizing the health, welfare, and safety of children while creating meaningful early childhood experiences. ECAs will support curriculum development by planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities. Additionally, they will build and maintain nurturing relationships with colleagues and families, both in person and through online platforms.
Candidates are expected to actively contribute to the centre’s daily operations by adhering to best practices and the ethical standards set forth by all relevant governing bodies.
