Territory Account Manager

As a Territory Account Manager, your primary objective will be to identify and pursue opportunities for new and expanded customer growth for innovative Rogers Business Solutions within the Commercial segment in British Columbia. This is a hunter role, and you should be highly comfortable with self-directed prospecting to discover new customers. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to identify potential clients and build strong relationships with C-level executives across the region. Solutions include sales of Wireless, Internet Connectivity, IOT, Data Centre, Unified Communications and Cloud Solutions.

What you'll be doing :

  • Active prospecting into net new and existing clients to promote and sell Rogers solutions.
  • Researching prospective customers to identify contacts and roles within the decision-making center.
  • Utilizing Social Media and various creative customer engagement methods to gain alignment across the organization on account strategy.
  • Acting as an ambassador of Rogers to our clients and providing them with superior world-class customer experience.
  • Understanding current and prospective customers' business issues to relate them into sales opportunities.
  • Developing the right solution for clients' evolving business requirements with a Customer First Approach.
  • Building relationships with partners and subject matter experts to engage as required.
  • Ability to work well with a broad team to leverage the correct skillset as applicable.
  • Building trust, loyalty, and solid long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Sharing your ideas by actively participating in regular sales meetings and fulfilling required sales administrative duties (CRM).

What you Bring :

  • University degree or equivalent expertise.
  • 5+ years of business sales experience; preferably within a Communications, Information or Technology organization.
  • Technical background in Infrastructure services, with a background in Telephony, Network and Data Centre technologies.
  • Track record of consistent top-tier performance (e.g., President's Club).
  • Proven aptitude for identifying and closing profitable business.
  • Experience successfully calling into Director or C-Level positions.
  • Results-oriented with strong leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of CRM applications such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experienced presenter with excellent active listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • A passion for providing world-class sales and service solutions.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, action-oriented, and results-driven.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week.

If you are selected to move forward in the recruitment process, here is what you can expect :

  • 15-minute phone screen with your recruiter
  • 1-hour virtual interview with Hiring Manager
  • 30-minute final round virtual interview with Director of the team

As part of the recruitment process, the selected candidate will be required to complete a background check which includes credit and criminal checks.

To protect our people, brand, and assets, a pre-employment background check will be conducted.
