Primary Purpose: To provide field services and collaborate with scientists, senior environmental professionals, and forensic experts on environmental investigation projects, offering consulting services related to emergency response, spills, contamination, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), hazardous materials, and health and safety issues, in accordance with client assignments.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Respond to new losses, assess sites; some travel and outside hours required.
  • Manage project activities to completion, including impact assessment, identifying recovery options, supervising subcontractors, controlling costs, and resolving conflicts.
  • Report to clients and keep management informed of developments.
  • Ensure protocols are followed and reports are timely.
  • Resolve project conflicts independently.
  • Prepare budgets and review invoices.
  • Monitor efforts and billing of third-party workers.
  • Assist in collecting field samples and submit them for testing.
  • Maintain safety procedures.
  • Follow established methodologies and safety manuals.
  • Participate in local marketing efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Document billable hours accurately.
  • Gather detailed notes, photographs, and environmental measurements.
  • Promote investigative services within the assigned territory.
  • Partner with senior professionals on complex cases.
  • Prepare scientific inspection reports.
  • Follow industry-accepted methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain positive client and team relationships.
  • Assist and observe contractor work, interacting with clients and contractors accordingly.
Additional Functions and Responsibilities
  • Comply with safety programs and standards.
  • Properly use and maintain personal protective equipment and equipment.
  • Follow company policies on equipment storage and HR policies.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and time submission standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience

Three to five years of experience in environmental remediation work across all phases.

Skills & Knowledge
  • Knowledge of current industry standards, regulations, techniques, and equipment for Emergency Response and IAQ services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently or in teams, and meet performance standards.
