Company Overview

Veraxx, a By Light Company, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to manage front desk operations at our Chantilly, VA location. We are looking for an organized individual with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees and government clients.

Responsibilities
  1. Order and stock snacks and utensils (refreshments are now complimentary, increasing frequency!)
  2. Scan and file purchase orders in shared drive project folders
  3. Assist accounting with sales tax submissions for Veraxx and By Light
  4. Prepare expense reports
  5. Answer front/back doorbell and phone calls
  6. Sign in guests and issue visitor badges
  7. Order and stock cleaning products and office supplies
  8. Schedule maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, landlord, electrician, etc.) as needed
  9. Order refreshments for meetings and set up early
  10. Maintain Outlook calendar and reserve conference rooms
  11. Manage employee directory and set up new hire desks
Required Experience and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience with Costpoint software
