We’re seeking a full-time, permanent Operations Manager to join our HearCANADA Retail Central Ontario team! This position supports the operations of our Central Ontario HearCANADA clinics, covering the GTA from Burlington to Durham Region, Barrie, Muskoka, and Peterborough Kawarthas. Travel within the territory to support clinical teams onsite will be expected.

Reporting to the Divisional Sales Director, you will bring multi-site operations experience from retail or clinical settings (experience in both retail + healthcare is a strong asset!) to our team. You should have an analytical and methodical approach, with experience empowering teams to exceed KPIs and targets, while providing support and data-driven recommendations.

This hybrid role is based in the Greater Toronto Area (or within commuting distance). Frequent travel (~60%) throughout the territory is required, and access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license are mandatory.

What you will do :

  • Oversee all operational aspects of assigned HearCANADA clinics, including supporting staff with training, coaching, and development; participate in performance discussions and hiring decisions alongside the Divisional Sales Director as appropriate.
  • Establish, create, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your clinics, including schedule management, patient recall, database management, etc.
  • Support clinical and company-wide initiatives such as new product launches, toolkit updates, pricing changes, and customer events.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and assess their impact on clinic operations.
  • Regularly report on KPI trends and the outcomes of initiatives and projects.
  • Document clinic needs and perform risk analysis to facilitate successful relocations, buildouts, and closures.
  • Support integration processes for acquisitions.
  • Assist clinical teams with projects to increase brand awareness and revenue, including competitive intelligence, networking, and community marketing.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with staff and managers to understand clinic challenges, successes, and areas for improvement.

What we are looking for :

  • At least 3 years of successful experience in retail or clinical operations.
  • Over 2 years of experience in operational leadership, training, coaching, and development for multi-site teams.
  • Experience working with KPIs and data-driven environments.
  • Technical proficiency with tools and software, including MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint), CRM, POS, and EMR systems.
  • Experience managing operations for new locations is highly desirable.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders, including change management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, suitable for diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset, capable of evaluating problems from multiple perspectives.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60% across Canada.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary plus bonus
  • Vehicle allowance and company card for work-related expenses
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits from day one
  • RRSP with employer matching
  • Educational assistance and professional development opportunities
