Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Global Mobility Operational Specialist for a 6-month contract, with potential extension for the right candidate.

This role focuses on international transfers and finance-related matters. You will coordinate backend international transfer processes for internal employees and handle global mobility finance matters, including invoices, reporting, and forecasting relocation, tax, and immigration expenses.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in mobility programs supporting a mobile workforce, and thrive in a fast-paced, unique environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the Global Mobility team with international transfers and assignment processes.
  2. Facilitate end-to-end transfer and hire processes for internal employees across international locations.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders such as the Global Mobility team, hiring managers, HR, Legal, and others to ensure smooth, timely transfers across multiple time zones.
  4. Utilize applicant tracking systems and shared tools for documentation and coordination.
  5. Review reports related to relocation, immigration, and tax expenses according to policies.
  6. Prepare cost estimates for employee-driven transfers.
  7. Code expenses to appropriate cost centers and manage Pcard expense reports.
  8. Prepare bi-quarterly finance forecast reports on relocation, immigration, and tax expenses.
  9. Coordinate monthly relocation compensation reporting with payroll.
  10. Assist employees with queries related to international relocations and expenses.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience in a technology company or fast-paced, global environment is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and external vendors.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills and MS Office experience (Visio, Teams).

  • Has prior in-house Global Mobility experience.
  • Loves working with metrics and data, and demonstrating value.
  • Possesses a global mindset.
  • Has recruiting or offer generation experience.
