PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Plan Member (patient) enrollment to ensure participation in available support programs offered by drug manufacturers (e.g., Patient Assistance Programs).
  • Set up pharmacy and prescriptions for patients during enrollment and provide ongoing support for the duration of the HealthForward Program.
  • Acquire knowledge of funding mechanisms, including private and public insurance plans.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects required to sustain prescription drug coverage according to private plan parameters.
  • Coordinate cases with Patient Assistance Programs, pharmacies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize health outcomes.
  • Handle documents, submissions, and paperwork related to Patient Assistance Programs, physician offices, and pharmacies.
  • Provide adherence and compliance services to ensure patients take their medication as prescribed and support overcoming adherence barriers.
  • Be available between 8 : 00 AM and 8 : 00 PM, with flexible working hours.
  • Maintain professionalism in a call center environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service within an office setting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone manner.
  • Proven ability to organize time, prioritize, and multitask to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industries is an asset.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
