Work Arrangement : In-office, Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

About the Opportunity

My client in the construction industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role offers 3 weeks of vacation, education support, and benefits after 3 months.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Handle full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end closing.
2. Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
3. Maintain and analyze financial statements, inventory, and job costing.
4. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
5. Oversee project cost tracking, liaising with operations and project managers.
6. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
7. Work with Sage and Excel to manage financial data and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience :

• CPA designation (or CPA candidate in final stages preferred).
• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within the construction industry.
• Strong experience with Sage 300 (or similar ERP) and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with various departments.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
