Under the supervision of the Manager or designate and as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides care to complex but stable residents/clients. Responsibilities include performing assessments, planning and delivering personal care, and executing nursing procedures. The LPN operates within the full scope of practice as defined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, adhering to agency policies, standards, and unit-specific protocols.

Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN.
• For MHSU positions, additional education as required by BCCNM for practice involving primary diagnosis of Mental Health and/or Substance Use disorders.
