Business Development / Sales Representative Position

We are a growing company, EZ blocks WEST, specializing in high-quality wooden blocks for various businesses. We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Business Development Representative to drive sales and grow our presence on the West Coast.

Job Overview :

The Business Development Representative will generate sales through face-to-face interactions, establish long-term customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and meet revenue goals. You will report to the Senior Manager and collaborate on sales strategies, target markets, and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Generation : Identify and generate new sales leads via networking, cold calls, and referrals.
  • Sales Outreach : Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients interested in our wooden blocks.
  • Product Presentations : Demonstrate product benefits tailored to customer needs.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Maintain strong relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy Development : Work with leadership to develop sales strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Sales Negotiations : Manage negotiations and close deals effectively.
  • Market Research : Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Reporting : Track and report sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights.

Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years proven experience in sales or business development, industry experience a plus.
  • Strong face-to-face sales skills and rapport-building ability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and independent worker.
  • Understanding customer needs and product positioning.
  • Adaptability to a startup, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with cold calling, lead generation, and sales presentations preferred.
  • Passion for the product and its potential.

Preferred :

  • Experience in construction or relevant sectors.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed.
