Job description

As a member of our team, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

1. Coordinate and perform on-site window, guard rail systems, and membrane testing for new construction and existing buildings;
2. Review and stay up-to-date with testing standards and procedures;
3. Assist the team in preparing test reports;
4. Maintain records of testing equipment inventory, and coordinate scheduled maintenance and calibration as required;
5. Provide daily updates on the ongoing testing schedule for all projects;
6. Gather, analyze, and report meaningful performance data for various investigations;
7. Drive to various site locations using own or company vehicle;
8. Participate actively in and support continuous improvement initiatives;
9. Assist the concrete lab with reporting or supplemental site testing and reviews as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary education in a related field such as Building / Construction Technology or a construction-related discipline;
• Experience with field or lab testing of window and railing systems is an asset;
• Health & Safety training in construction projects is an asset;
• Strong verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance, as field work is required;
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment;
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
