I'm looking for an Accounting Technician for a construction company located in Brossard, (hybrid with 3 days remote work).

Your mission as an Accounting Technician:

• Ensure the smooth running of the accounting cycle for construction projects, including:
• Issuing customer invoices and following up on payments in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Registration and approval of supplier/subcontractor invoices, and timely payment.
• Act as an accounting point of contact within project teams and ensure compliance of projects with internal policies and legal requirements, including:
• Verifying the proper creation of projects in the system and their financial tracking.
• Identify and report financial risks related to contracts (payment terms, invoicing conditions, deficiencies in project documentation, etc.).
• Answer questions from project teams and management on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and project accounting, which may include preparing analyses.
• Participate in project team training on accounting processes and internal procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting department processes, policies, and procedures.
