Job description

About the role]

  • We are looking for a passionate Head of Marketing to lead the marketing team and its growth marketing efforts at ProtoPie.

You are an expert of funnels, conversion rate optimization and sales lead generation, and you are able to lead team members, who have various expertise.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally, and identify & leverage growth opportunities throughout the funnel and customer journey, with a focus on acquisition. You prioritize revenue, want to acquire new users efficiently, and are always on the lookout for new growth opportunities.

  • This position is based in Seoul(South Korea) or Vancouver(Canada) and requires candidates to either reside in or plan to relocate to either of the two countries.

Responsibilities]

  • Define & iterate on ProtoPie’s marketing strategy focusing on the entire funnel and customer journey.
  • Generate sales leads for Enterprise sales teams through online and offline activities and utilize various marketing tools to automate / optimize the lead generation process.
  • Manage, optimize, and grow paid acquisition channels (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc) and identify new channels.
  • Set up data-driven growth initiatives—with experimentation—throughout the entire funnel / customer journey—from visit all the way to conversions.
  • Work closely with other product engineering, sales and customer experience teams to obtain meaningful results aligned with business objectives.
  • Grow team members to the next level of experts.

Qualifications]

Must

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in a startup and B2B / Enterprise SaaS setting.
  • 3+ years of people management experience including performance evaluation.
  • Fluent English communication skills(writing and verbal).
  • Deep understanding of enterprise sales process and growth metrics.
  • Highly proficient with marketing and data tools (e.g., Common Room, ZoomInfo, Drip, Unbounce, etc.) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, etc.).

  • Multilingual(Other than Korean and English).

Working Arrangements]

  • Flexible working hours (Generally from 10 AM to 7 PM KST in HQ).
  • Full-time position (during the first 3 months—the probation period, the employee will receive 100% of their salary).
  • HQ : Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea (HQ relocation to Sinnonhyeon area planned for June 2025)
