We also provide engineering, design, and systems integration for industrial, fluid power, and flow control applications, as well as customized mechanical, rubber, and shop services.

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for our Medicine Hat, AB location.

In this sales role, reporting to the General Manager, you will expand your territory by acquiring new clients and maintaining existing accounts. Your responsibilities include engaging with engineers, maintenance teams, and purchasing departments through a consultative approach to help clients achieve superior performance.

Ideal candidates have a background in industrial distribution and can communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, from CEOs to shop floor personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business and maintain existing territory
  • Prospect for new customers, set appointments, and demonstrate product benefits
  • Build strategic relationships to understand and leverage customer goals and strategies
  • Collaborate with management on sales strategies and prospects
  • Respond to customer inquiries and engage in direct sales activities
  • Promote products and anticipate client needs
  • Manage a sales territory and maintain productive team relationships
  • Attend training and sales meetings
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets
