Role Overview

As a Managing Consultant, you have specialized in your technical and functional niche over several years and now play a leading role in delivering successful projects. You develop and implement data solutions hands-on, while managing project scope, timeline, budget, and quality. Your role involves a variety of tasks across missions, focusing on leveraging your technical skills and pre-sales expertise to drive growth and deliver value to clients. Flexibility and strong organizational skills are essential, along with your experience as a technical expert.

Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields, with a strong interest in IT and emerging technologies.
  • Extensive expertise in technologies, frameworks, and data modeling (Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data Manipulation, Big Data Engineering).
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience with tools such as Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Azure, Tableau, Qlik, Talend, Dataiku, SAS, SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Informatica Powercenter, IBM DataStage, Oracle BI, SQL, Python, Hadoop, Java, among others.
  • Project management experience, preferably with agile certifications (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in developing, designing, and analyzing complex, high-volume data from various sources, providing tailored solutions.
  • Knowledge of data architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of common data definitions, KPIs, and data language.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to clients.
  • Experience managing teams, budgets, forecasts, and workforce planning.
  • Fluent in English and/or French.
  • Experience creating Proofs of Concept (POC) and responding to RFPs.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of analytics, BI, CPM, or digital projects—including development, analysis, design, architecture, and implementation.
  • Address challenges faced by organizations in managing and leveraging their data.
  • Develop and create new data solutions tailored to client needs—designing data models, ETL processes, data storage, business logic, and complex visualizations.
  • Create deliverables based on client workshops and project structures.
  • Architect data solutions and design complex data models.
  • Contribute technical insights during the sales process to secure new business.
  • Design and develop proofs of concept to demonstrate solutions to clients.
  • Build compelling value propositions.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into technical capabilities.
  • Develop and promote best practices within Keyrus.
  • Contribute to delivery methodologies and frameworks, sharing lessons learned.
  • Lead project teams and internal teams, setting objectives and mentoring junior consultants.
  • Manage project profitability, including timelines, budgets, and margins.
