CARFAX’s Personalization Product Manager will work across the organization to develop our Personalization platform that guides users as they shop, buy, maintain, or sell cars. Your expertise will leverage consumer insights to provide a tailored experience with highly relevant content at every touch point, both on-site (web and app) and off-site (digital messaging and social media channels).
The right candidate will have a blend of product management experience, technical fluency (comfortable understanding technology concepts with engineering and data scientists), and an entrepreneurial mindset.
What you’ll be doing :
- Define the vision & strategy, development, and execution of the product that drives personalization throughout CARFAX.
- Identify new opportunities unlocked by data insights (quantitative and qualitative) to enhance omnichannel personalization.
- Lead the integration of personalization features across user experiences, ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap.
- Promote the centralized personalization concept within the organization and embed it into our culture.
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, analytics, data science, UX, user research, and marketing — from ideation to launch of innovative products.
- Make data-driven decisions; understand car shopper needs, pain points, and behaviors to create critical moments for personalization, aligning features with company goals.
- Translate product vision into detailed functional specifications.
- Define success metrics, monitor performance, and strategize product rollouts based on personalization insights.
- Understand CARFAX’s strategic and competitive landscape to deliver industry-leading products.
- Maximize efficiency in a dynamic environment where processes are fluid and creative solutions are encouraged.
What we’re looking for :
- 5+ years of product management experience focused on large-scale platforms or services (preferred).
- Experience leading or implementing personalized lifecycle consumer experiences (preferred).
- Experience integrating features across multiple teams.
- Proven track record working with data and data products (preferred).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, customer-focused, and innovative. Thrive on challenges and work proactively.
- Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills; comfortable working with ambiguity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Decisiveness and agility in seizing opportunities.
- BA / BS degree.
