We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Projects Accounting and Construction team in Montreal, Canada. Join us to develop best-in-class business solutions using Acumatica xRP technology and enhance your skills in a professional environment!

Responsibilities:

1. Engage proactively and creatively with product managers, partners, and customers to identify and elaborate on business needs, differentiating them from user requests.
2. Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and fellow analysts to understand technical concepts and translate business needs into technical requirements.
3. Evaluate information from multiple sources, analyze, test, and document functionality as needed for design work.
4. Structure information, write functional design specifications and technical requirements, and work with developers and QA during programming, debugging, and testing.
5. Perform acceptance testing and report bugs.
6. Troubleshoot customer issues and propose solutions.
7. Demonstrate features and enhancements to technical and non-technical audiences, and manage feedback.
8. Assist product managers in elaborating the product backlog.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Higher technical education in computer systems, networks, information systems, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in ERP system analysis, software design, and development of functional specifications.
• Portfolio of past specifications available upon request.
• Experience in business software development industry for 5+ years.
• Previous experience as a Software Developer or Programming Analyst is a plus.
• Understanding of software design principles and lifecycle.
• User empathy and system thinking skills.
• Ability to manage complex information and perform impact analysis.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Basic Business English proficiency.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience analyzing complex business products like ERP with ongoing maintenance.
