Clintar Calgary is a large-scale, commercial landscape construction and maintenance company seeking a hardworking, motivated landscape professional to join our management team.

Position: Construction Field Operations Manager / Snow Supervisor

The Construction Field Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the daily operations of our growing construction division to efficiently produce high-quality landscapes for our clients. This role involves supervising and instructing multiple foremen and crews to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality standards are met and continuously improved. The manager will also oversee resources including materials, inventory, equipment, labor, and training. Collaboration with the estimator and management team is essential for planning and executing construction contracts and managing the construction season schedule to meet budget targets.

This position transitions into a Snow Supervisor role during the winter season, overseeing sidewalk crews and plows to ensure timely and efficient clearing of sidewalks and parking lots across the city for multiple commercial clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction landscaping in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in operation, installation, or repair of commercial irrigation systems.
• Extensive knowledge in reading and executing landscape architectural and civil earthworks drawings and plans.
• Ability to interpret grades for earthworks, including survey stakes and topographical drawings.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Background in heavy equipment operation.
• At least 3 years managing commercial snow removal crews.
• A degree, diploma, or trade certificate from a college or horticulture school is an asset.
