As a Technician II - Security with Paladin Technologies, you will collaboratively review, understand, analyze (for correctness), and implement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.
This role requires the ability and know-how to properly complete the installation, understand and follow the BOM, and be capable of making adjustments or finding alternative solutions as needed to complete installations to client satisfaction.

Our Integrated Systems Technicians are responsible for installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, alarm systems, and related security equipment
- Perform cable pulling, termination, and routing as part of security system installation
- Provide customer training for proper system usage and respond to technical inquiries
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning security equipment and systems
- Complete detailed and accurate paperwork
- Perform other tasks as required
- You may be required to be “on-call” before or after your scheduled hours and/or on days when you are not regularly scheduled to work
- You may be required to work “night shifts” when needed based on project/service requirements
- Support, lead, and mentor team members
- Design systems and layouts
- Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism
- Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessary
- Other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry
- Proficiency in cable pulling, installation, and basic troubleshooting
- Experience with security systems, CCTV, and alarms
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and team members
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract
- Able to work independently
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent
- Vendor Certification in low-voltage systems

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop. Use hands to finger, handle, and feel objects, and type on a keyboard; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Use of power tools is required. Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds and work at heights over 1.8m (6 feet).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, work on job sites, travel to/from sites, and occasional exposure to construction equipment. Moderate noise levels. Confined space entry and high work may be required.
Pay Range: $28.00/hr - $36.99/hr DOE
