An established industry player is looking for skilled Journeyperson Electricians to join their dynamic team. The ESL Group - Electrical Solutions is currently seeking Journeyperson Electricians to join our growing and dynamic team for service and construction projects located in Northern BC and Vancouver Island.
Fundamental Requirements:
● Residential, & commercial service and construction electrical experience is a requirement
● Knowledge of the principles of electricity, circuitry, and power distribution systems is an asset
● Mechanically inclined
● Ability to conduct work while standing, bending, crawling, lifting, climbing, pulling, and reaching
● Ability to conduct work on ladders and/or aerial platforms, and comfortable working from heights
● Strong organizational and planning skills
● Must be willing to travel for out-of-town work shifts if required
● High attention to detail, work productively and take pride in workmanship (perform tasks correctly)
Safety Requirements:
● Fall Protection and Aerial Work Platform would be considered an asset.
● Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.
Experience:
● Electrical: 3 years (required)
● Electrical Red Seal Certification
● FSR Certification (preferred)
● Class 5 driver's license (required)
● Language: English (preferred)
Ability to commute/relocate: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) based on location and hiring branch. Must be willing to travel to other job sites around BC and within the surrounding area of the branch office.
Schedule: Full-time Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed
