Job description

Hello and welcome to DAYBREAKER! We are a global morning dance community of 1M+ and growing, waking up and dancing in iconic locations around the world (top of the World Trade Center, Sydney Opera House, Smithsonian museum, the White House, and more). While the city sleeps, we break the day with energy and intention, fostering a community of adventure-seekers, mischief makers, and joy enthusiasts.

We are a Brooklyn-based family led by three best friends, supported by a small but passionate team. We value kindness, service, optimism, and joy—beyond just skills and experience. Our mission is to encourage more people to dance, play, connect, and express themselves, especially in the post-pandemic world.

What We Do

We are the original coffee party, focusing on morning dance and wellness events in iconic spaces worldwide (daybreaker.com). We are a substance-free community reimagining socializing without alcohol or drugs. As experience designers, creatives, storytellers, and community architects, we aim to build a lasting movement that supports local communities for years to come.

We look forward to connecting with you. Whether or not you join our team, remember that these decisions are tough, and you are still EPIC. We hope to see you on the dance floor!

The Role

As a member of the Daybreaker team, you become part of our global family, spreading love and mischief worldwide. As a Daybreaker Event Producer & Community Architect ("Producer"), you will be the face of Daybreaker in your city. Your responsibilities include building an engaged community, producing memorable experiences, and promoting events to relevant audiences. Support will be provided by the HQ team, including coaching and resources to help you succeed. You will find venues, source talent, cultivate volunteers, coordinate with vendors and sponsors, develop local partnerships, and produce monthly events. Marketing, communication, operations, branding, sponsorship, and PR support will enable you to focus on creating unforgettable experiences.

Requirements

The ideal Producer lives a healthy, conscious lifestyle, has a big heart, and loves dance music. You should be detail-oriented, hardworking, and a savvy professional. Experience in the startup/tech scene, health & wellness, or arts & culture communities is preferred. You should have a strong network of millennials and be a community leader capable of producing immersive events. Bonus points if you're a Burning Man participant. :)

You'll Need
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and independent work approach—organized self-starter
  • Several years of large-scale event production experience
  • A strong network of influencers, creatives, and go-getters
  • Exceptional community-building skills—natural organizer of people
  • Cultural savvy in your city—connected to local arts and music scenes
  • A flexible schedule
  • A big heart, a clear mind, and a passion for surprises and delights
Benefits
  • Hands-on coaching in experience design, event production, brand management, and community development—core practices that have grown Daybreaker globally
  • Access to a worldwide network of artists, DJs, and musicians
  • Collaboration with an international community of passionate Producers
  • Monthly strategy sessions with Daybreaker co-founder/CEO Radha Agrawal
  • Invitations to exclusive events like art exhibitions, underground dance parties, startup mixers, family dinners, and mindful experiences
  • Support from our PR team, featured in outlets like The New York Times, GQ, and The Washington Post

If this sounds like your dream job and you're serious about the role, we would love to hear from you. We're excited to connect!
