ResponsibilitiesSystem Analysts support the long-term goals of the Office of Administrative System Transformation (OAST) through consultation, process improvement, and digital transformation. They provide functional expertise on OAST software applications and integrations, evaluate business processes, make recommendations, develop innovative solutions, and improve processes using digital standards and technology.
They maintain and optimize existing platforms, manage and facilitate the installation of small/medium software programs, perform issue resolution, system maintenance, and implement best practices. An intermediate background in human resources, payroll, supply chain, finance, engineering, or healthcare, with expertise in digital tools such as analytics, process automation, APIs, and product management is required.
They understand strategic product directions to inform Mayo product roadmaps, provide documentation to support project design and workflows, participate in design decisions, test system enhancements, validate testing quality, and utilize vendor support tools for issue resolution.
They collaborate with stakeholders across departments, identify issues with systems, create and maintain functional design documents, validate requirements, troubleshoot software and technical issues, and assist in redesigning systems and workflows. They may participate in acquisition discussions, estimate resource needs, develop project timelines, lead business meetings, document process changes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. They may also maintain the project portfolio and provide 24/7 on-call support.
QualificationsBachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or H.S. diploma with 8 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience includes roles in HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Healthcare, or IT. Previous systems and process flow knowledge within Supply Chain, Finance, and HR is preferred. Healthcare experience and knowledge of systems like Oracle and UKG are advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of SQL and operating systems is preferred.
System certification (e.g., Oracle Certification) is preferred but not required. Experience supporting the Payroll Module in Oracle Fusion Cloud is highly desirable.
Additional DetailsExempt status, salary range $100,339.20 - $140,462.40 annually, full-time schedule, 80 hours/pay period, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central, with potential 24/7 on-call support. No international assignment. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S.
