POSITION SUMMARY

SE Health is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst for our digital transformation team within the Finance Domain. This role will support the Finance team and provide an opportunity to significantly impact organizational growth and effectiveness through delivering best-in-class digital solutions.

Reporting to the Director of Business Transformation, the Finance Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in transforming SE's Finance function by leveraging their expertise and collaborating with SE's Finance team and Digital Transformation Office.

This position supports SE Health's strategic transformation initiative aimed at solidifying technology and processes to enhance client and staff experiences, streamline operations, and prepare the business for future growth, all while delivering Hope and Happiness at scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Analyze business needs within related Finance capability areas.
2. Collaborate with Finance teams to evaluate current processes and applications, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
3. Gather and articulate stakeholder requirements across finance, operational, and technical champions.
4. Map detailed processes to define digital capabilities, requirements, data flows, and new roles.
5. Participate in process improvement methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis.

Facilitate Design and Support Build of Solution

1. Use people-centered and service design practices to lead workshops gathering detailed requirements and improving employee and client experiences.
2. Translate requirements into actionable plans for solution design, testing, and deployment, guided by Finance leaders.
3. Participate in software evaluation, selection, implementation, and training.
4. Prepare test cases and perform solution testing, documenting results.
5. Assist in developing and tracking project management deliverables.
6. Continuously learn about new processes and digital advancements to enhance modernization efforts.

Drive Adoption of Solution

1. Collaborate with SMEs on finance projects and ensure successful implementation.
2. Keep key stakeholders informed and aligned to maximize synergies.
3. Support training and activities for business users on new processes and technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 5 years' experience as a business analyst in Finance processes.
2. Minimum 3 years' experience with Finance or ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains, Oracle, Workday).
3. Flexibility and adaptability to learn new technologies and processes.
4. Experience with Agile methodologies; Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
6. Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Visio; data analysis skills are an asset.
7. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
8. Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred; equivalent experience considered.
9. Healthcare experience is an asset.
